Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Business Requirements: Gather, document, and manage detailed business requirements for custom application development and enhancements.
• Agile Practices: Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, and business users to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Adaptability: Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Day to day:

• Interact with application developers, application Client and PMs, other portfolios, Vendors, portfolios PMs, Architects, Developers, and QA testers, for full life cycle of a project.
• Interview stakeholders, subject matter experts and facilitate JAD sessions to gather and document requirements.
• Work with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize product enhancements, while simultaneously crushing technical debt.
• Serve as the bridge between the business team who create the API requirements, and the back-end development team who understand the back-end systems and data sources.
• Experienced in writing User Stories, Acceptance criteria for User Stories and managing the Product Backlog Items through the product life cycle.
• Experienced in working with distributed teams in complex environments, onsite-offshore model, vendors, and stakeholders from across the organization to ensure the success of the product.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.

Technical Skills:

• Experience working with AWS Cloud technologies or projects desirable.
• Experience with AWS DevOps, Jira or similar technologies for documenting and tracking requirements.
• Java, SQL, development knowledge is a plus.

Must have Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable in a dynamic and evolving team environment.
