Broadband Automation Engineer

Experience Level Required. : 5+

Develop automated regression tests and run them against each major release of our system software
Design and implement software to automate test cases 
Work closely with the development teams to identify and resolve hardware and software defects
Evaluate test specifications, requirements, strategies and methodologies for Broadband Gateway automation
Responsible for Beta, Customer field triage and troubleshooting


•       5+ years of work experience in relevant field.
•       Strong Knowledge of wireless network (Wi-Fi) concepts and standards IEEE 802.11 (WLAN)
•       Strong Knowledge of IP networking principles and relevant protocols
•       Knowledge of HFC / DOCSIS, VoIP networks and Tools required
.       CWMP - TR069, TR181
o   Cable Modems
o   CMTS’s
o   ACS (Auto Configuration Server)
o   SNMP
•       Knowledge of FTTx technologies (G-PON, etc.)
•       Knowledge of LINUX, Windows and SUN Solaris operating systems.
•       Experience in Python  scripting 
•       Must be proficient in the use of Office tools such as Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
•       Proficient in troubleshooting and reproducing of issues in Lab environment
•       Must have an education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, preferably with a degree

Roles :

Python Scripting and validation supporting Broadband Gateways testing
Code Review and Code Validation using python
Develop automated regression tests and run them against each major release of our system software

Create and maintain related documentation including test plans
Participate in daily scrum and weekly bug review meetings
