BI REPORT DEVELOPER

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Report Developer who is proficient in Power BI and adept at crafting compelling reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of analytical acumen, attention to detail, and a knack for transforming data into actionable insights. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing insightful reports and dashboards that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Duties &Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize complex data sets.
Collaborate with internal team members to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from multiple tables, applying joins and establishing relationships as needed.
Develop and optimize Power BI DAX measures to calculate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Leverage Power Query for data transformation and cleansing tasks.
Explore and integrate additional data sources, including those from Snowflake.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all reporting outputs.
Continuously improve and optimize existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business requirements.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence and data visualization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
3-6 years’ experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
Experience with Power BI DAX measures and Power Query.
Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
General understanding of database and reporting terminology.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
