BI Developer/ETL DW Lead

• Client is undergoing a significant data transformation initiative.
• Migrating their entire data warehouse to the Azure Cloud, including VMs, web services, and PowerApps.
• Streamlining and modernizing data pipelines and integrations to better support report writers in developing Power BI dashboards and reports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Data Warehouse Lead with an architect-level mindset.
• Set up ETL pipelines from various sources—understanding data origins, structure, and transformation needs.
• Ability to analyze data flows, understand source-to-target mapping, and troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Ensure clean, optimized data delivery for report writers in IT Business Process & Analytics team.
• Provide expertise in BI performance tuning to enhance reporting efficiency

Must-haves:

• ETL pipeline development -setting up data pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Strong experience with T-SQL, SQL Server, OLAP, and Data Cubes.
• Power BI (3+ years) – Must be confident and capable of defending their experience and work.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Python, R, or Java, particularly libraries used for data integration, extraction, and transformation
