BI Developer ( Tableau )

Job Description

Tableau developer will help design, develop, enhance, and fine tune the Business Intelligence (BI) applications using Tableau toolsets. Ideal candidate will require hands-on experience with Tableau Product Suite, knowledge of Tableau Architecture, solution design and well versed with CICD deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and enforce data delivery standards to ensure consistent information delivery methods across projects.
• Create project/delivery documentation such as deployment guides, release notes, product unit test recommendation documents etc.
• Provides walkthrough of the release documentation to the deployment teams
• Work with business, internal teams to create dashboards, reports in Tableau.
• Design overall Tableau solution based on provided business problem.
• Capable to tune up the performance of the existing dashboards.
• Ability to create advanced Tableau dashboards based on the emerging healthcare/insurance market trend
• Should follow the best practices in all the Tableau project deliverables.
• Should be able to convert the business requirements into technical requirement with minimal inputs.
• Should support the deployments into test/prod environments and
• Ability to test the Tableau server upgrade activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of multiple software delivery life cycles such as Waterfall & Agile methodologies
• 5+ years of experience with Tableau 2019.1 or higher
• Ability to design and develop end to end Tableau solutions for complex business problems with minimal input from others
• Understanding of BI development standards is required.
• Experience building Worksheets, Story and Dashboards is must
• Good understanding of SQL tools such as DB2, and other ODBC-based query tools.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Date modelling experience is preferred.
• Tableau administration experience is a plus
