BI Architect - Power BI

Role & Responsibilities:

•Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions to enable clients to make data-driven business decisions

•Collaborate with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements

•Provide research, high-level design and estimates for data transformation and data integration from source applications to end-user BI solutions

•Collaborate with teams to integrate BI systems

•Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

•Create visualizations and reports for requested projects

•Developing Data Gateways for data refreshing, content pack library

•Creating Custom Visuals and Groups Creation and managing Embed Codes.

•Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions

•Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations through automation

Required Skills:

•7+ years of experience in Data Visualization/Business Intelligence

•Must have hands-on experience with Power BI service, Dax Transformations and Power Query.

•Must have hands-on experience with Dataflow Transformations on Power BI Service.

•Must have hands-on experience with Migration of Power BI reports from dev to production.

•In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), ETL, ELT frameworks, and data-warehousing

•Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

•Highly proficient in working with large volumes of business data and strong understanding of database design and implementation.

•Good experience in performance tuning of Power BI reports and dashboards. Solid experience in complex SQL logic.

•Should have some concepts on building Security around the entire Data Warehouse

•Implementation of Row Level Security by defining various constraints for each role.

•Good at creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter,

Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc

•Experience with Qlikview/Qliksense, Tableau and/or GCP Looker is a plus.

•Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred

•Team leading experience is a plus

•Financial Services, Banking or Asset Management experience is preferred

•Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
