Business Intelligence Professional
• Good SQL skills - ability to query data, know aggregation, join concepts and understand the schema. The semantic layer (in sigma) is a drag drop ecosystem, will require this individual to recreate schema based on requirements
• Proficient with analytics tools like Looker, or Sigma Reporting Tools, Tableau, Power BI (change in order, would love someone with Looker background, Sigma is very similar to Looker and very different from Tableau/PowerBI)
• Experience working with embedded BI (web integrations)
• Soft Skills:
o Good UI aesthetics, especially in BI
o Excellent communication skills
o Strong engineering thought process
o A sense of ownership and accountability

Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and Design: Develop and implement data architecture strategies that leverage Looker, SQL, and other reporting tools to meet business requirements.
• Data Integration: Integrate various data sources and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Looker and other tools to provide actionable insights.
• Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and Looker models for performance and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for data management, security, and governance.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on Looker and SQL
