Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead the growth of our Cloud Services portfolio. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a strong network, and the ability to identify and close new business opportunities in cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, migration services, cloud consulting, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Development
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for cloud services in target markets.
  • Generate a robust sales pipeline through networking, industry events, cold outreach, and partnerships.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Engage with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and procurement teams to understand their cloud needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Drive sales of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and associated IT services.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Proposal Development & Deal Closure
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design compelling cloud solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, conduct negotiations, and close deals.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth areas.
  • Work with the marketing team to create campaigns, case studies, and pitch decks.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM and report to senior management.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT services sales, with at least 2 years in selling cloud services.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud migration, DevOps, and managed services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner / Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
  • Sales or cloud-related certifications from major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
