Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and tech-savvy Business Development Manager – AI Services to drive new business and strategic partnerships focused on AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of enterprise AI use cases, experience in IT services sales, and a track record of selling data and AI solutions to mid- to large-sized organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to sell AI/ML services and solutions (e.g., computer vision, NLP, generative AI, predictive analytics).
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets and KPIs for pipeline, proposals, and closures.
Lead Generation & Opportunity Development
- Identify new clients through outbound prospecting, events, partnerships, and inbound lead qualification.
- Engage with C-level executives and technology leaders to identify business problems that can be solved with AI.
Solution Selling & Consultative Engagement
- Work closely with AI solution architects and data scientists to develop client-specific value propositions.
- Translate technical AI concepts into business value and use cases for client stakeholders.
Proposal Development & Deal Closure
- Drive RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations, and pricing discussions.
- Lead commercial negotiations and close contracts with support from legal and finance teams.
Market Research & GTM Strategy
- Track AI industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to shape offerings and positioning.
- Develop tailored GTM strategies for key industries such as Healthcare, BFSI, Retail, or Manufacturing.
Collaboration & Internal Alignment
- Coordinate with marketing to develop campaigns, case studies, and thought leadership around AI capabilities.
- Work with delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to execution.
Partner Ecosystem Management
- Leverage partnerships with AI platform providers (e.g., AWS AI/ML, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI) to build co-sell opportunities.
- Stay informed on partner roadmaps, certifications, and industry innovations.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Business; MBA is a plus.
- 5–8 years of experience in IT services sales, with at least 2+ years in selling AI/ML or data analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, business use cases, and data lifecycle.
- Proven ability to open new accounts and close multi-year services deals.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable working with solution engineers, data scientists, and technical experts.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML platforms like AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, Google AI, or OpenAI.
- Domain-specific experience (e.g., Healthcare AI, Financial Risk Modeling, Customer Intelligence).
- Familiarity with GenAI concepts and large language models (LLMs)
