Back-End Developer

Job Title: Back-End Developer
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: Long Term Contract

Role Description/Responsibilities:
Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. The developer will participate in the build of a modernized platform that leverages back-end development using Scala, custom UI integration, and RedHat OpenShift technology.

Required Skills: (proficiency must be noted for all; 2-3 ct)
·        Angular                                              P1 – Beginner
·        Java Full Stack Development       P1 – Beginner
·        Scala Programming Language     P1 - Beginner

All candidates should have:
·        Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
·        Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
·        Eligibility to receive Federal Public Trust clearance
·        Established residency in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
·        Candidates must be local to the Washington, D.C. Metro/Northern VA area – travel will not be reimbursed.
·        Completed Background Investigation in accordance with Section 8.3 of your Subcontract Agreement prior to start of work.

Level of Effort: Full-time / 40 – 50 hours per week.
