Description

This job will have the following responsibilities:
 

Design, develop deliverables based on Business enhancements

● Enhance existing applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

● Work on Digital Transformation and modernize the application based on new technologies

● Experience in working with very complex system using micro services architecture and using large databases

● Effective communication skills

● Partnering with Security, Engineering and Platform/Prod support teams at the appropriate stages in application development to ensure any new systems or projects leverage enterprise Development / DevOps standards


Qualifications & Requirements:

● 6 years of Experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.

● Expert level proficiency in Java 21, Spring Boot preferably with latest versions.

● 3 years of Experience in working with Kubernetes, managing Kubernetes cluster, Docker, and containerization technologies.

● 3 years of Experience with working in a Cloud environment and Oracle cloud is preferable.

● Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven development culture

● 3 years of Experience with Tomcat

● 3 years of Experience with Linux/Unix

● 3 years of Experience with Cloud and DevOps tools (GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins, etc)

● Good working Knowledge of Oracle Database including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues

● Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed, Teamwork and to collaborate and work with multiple teams

● Ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding ability to quickly provide sound decisions and recommendations.

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

● Working knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ

● Working knowledge of JSON, Camel

● Working knowledge of APIGEE

● Knowledge of GenAI and Agentic AI and AI Tools

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

● Bachelor's Degree or master’s degree in computer science or similar.

● 7+ years of Application Development and Technology Experience
