Back End Developer

About the job

Engineers will analyze data with data bricks, python, sql. After they analyze, they do core fix and code changes. They do enhancements and code changes in the pipeline. Work will be based on priorities – feature enhancements, production support, etc.

They spread the team out. Team Size & Breakdown: 5 associates and 3 contractors

– they divide the work based on production incidents, feature enhancements Development Methodology: agile

– 2 weeks sprints Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC Azure

– service bus, Azure SQL, Kubernetes SQL (Azure SQL DB) and NoSQL

– CosmosDB (Cosmos is preferable) They use Jenkins

– they have the pipelines so need to have understanding of how it works Not currently developing a lot of APIs. They have existing APIs they will support – needs to know Rest APIs. SQL queries are really important Nice-to-Haves: Production support

Required Experience:

- 6+ years experience as a backend engineer

- Must have experience with Java 9 and spring boot

- Cloud experience

- Be familiar with Python and strong experience working with sql
