Azure Synapse Architect

As an Azure Synapse Architect, you will be responsible for designing cloud-based data architectures that leverage Azure Synapse Analytics for advanced analytics, big data processing, and business intelligence. You will work hands-on with Java, MariaDB, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data streaming technologies.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics.
Develop and optimize Java-based applications and RESTful APIs.
Manage and optimize MariaDB for both transactional and analytical workloads.
Work with Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark, and Azure Databricks for ETL processes.
Integrate real-time data streaming solutions using Azure Stream Analytics, Apache Kafka, and similar tools.
Collaborate on database optimization, query performance tuning, and indexing.
Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) using Azure DevOps.
🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in cloud data architecture, including Azure Synapse Analytics, MariaDB, and Java.
Proficiency with Azure Synapse Analytics (data warehousing, SQL pools, Spark pools).
Experience with MariaDB (transactional and analytical workloads).
Strong hands-on experience in Java development (RESTful APIs, microservices).
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools like Azure Data Factory and Apache Spark.
Expertise in data integration, real-time data streaming, and cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
Solid understanding of data security, encryption, and data governance
