Description

Design, build, and manage Azure infrastructure (Data Factory, Key Vaults, VMs, Networking, etc.)

Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Bicep or Terraform

Automate CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, GitHub, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)

Evaluate and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency

Administer and monitor Databricks, Snowflake, and other cloud-native platforms

Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security issues across environments

Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions

Drive improvements through SRE principles, monitoring, and incident resolution

Lead development of reusable, scalable, and supportable services

Engage in root cause analysis and production support

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

7+ years of hands-on Azure Platform Engineering experience

7+ years in DevOps roles, working in Agile/Scrum environments

Advanced proficiency in:

Python (5+ years)

SQL

Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform/Bicep, PowerShell

Experience with:

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

CI/CD pipelines

Monitoring, logging, and support of production environments

Strong background in delivering scalable services with monitoring and support

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to work across multiple systems and teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Hands-on with cloud platforms and services like:

Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, CosmosDB, SQL

Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Azure Functions

Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, Networking, Log Analytics

System administration experience on Windows/Linux

Certifications preferred:

Azure Administrator / Solution Architect

Databricks Platform Admin

Snowflake SnowPro

Experience with Azure cost control, forecasting, and governance
