Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Candidates will perform a range of activities required to design, implement, maintain, and continuously automate a large hybrid infrastructure environment.
  • Network design and implementation for public and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Define & implement migration methodologies techniques to migrate workloads into the cloud in a consistent and repeatable manner.
  • Manage, maintain, and monitor different infrastructure components (servers, network, applications).
  • Cloud Center of Excellence to adhere to security and regulatory best practices involving cloud deployments
  • Troubleshoot and remediate 2nd and 3rd level issues impacting the operation of the overall infrastructure.
  • Automate routine systems tasks and processes using PowerShell or similar tools.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy of the enterprise environment.
  • Build and maintain #playbooks# and other supporting documentation.
  • Work with team members to perform regular system audit and security reviews.
  • Managing projects processes, working independently with limited supervision.
  • Mentor train junior Engineers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/Education:

  • Bachelor s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or relevant field.
  • Industry certification is a plus (Azure, GCP, AWS). Experience & Qualifications:
  • 8 years of IT Infrastructure experience (Systems Engineer or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of PaaS and IaaS cloud.
