Responsibilities:
 

  • Lead and manage operational data across the organization, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Oversee cloud-based storage management on Azure and AWS, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish and enforce robust data governance policies and security measures to ensure compliance and data privacy.
  • Implement advanced data security strategies, including encryption, access control, and secure data sharing.
  • Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using data analysis, macro creation, and VBA programming to deliver actionable insights.
  • Leverage Power Query and Power Pivot for efficient data collection, cleaning, and organization of large datasets.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using macros and VBA scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases to effectively store, retrieve, and manage data.
  • Design and implement optimized database structures to support performance and scalability requirements.
  • Utilize advanced scripting and automation tools like Python and PowerShell for data processing and workflow automation.



Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Azure Data Storage: Design and implement robust data storage solutions on Azure, tailored to specific use cases. Select appropriate Azure data storage services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake Storage) based on project requirements. Develop optimized data storage schemas for high performance and efficiency.
  • Data Pipelines: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate and process data from various sources. Utilize tools like Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks to transform data into practical formats and load it into suitable Azure storage solutions. Ensure data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable to handle growing data volumes.
  • Collaboration & Optimization: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that support business needs. Continuously monitor and optimize data storage solutions and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.



Qualifications:
 

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data storage solutions using Azure services.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure data storage options (Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake Storage).
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and best practices for data architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex data solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.



Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or data management tools.
  • Experience in advanced data visualization tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with modern data engineering and data integration practices.
