Azure Data Architect

• Data warehouse modeling experience in enterprise data domains such as HR operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing
• Good understanding of data management principles such as data governance, data security, data quality

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements, interpret complex business requirements, translate into meaningful data requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect & deliver data solutions
• Initiates, leads, and performs in-depth analysis and provides recommendations on data architecture to support complex business problems.
• Design data models - Conceptual, Logical  and collaborate with Data Engineers on the data model, its maintenance and optimization, and end-to-end data-driven integration strategy
• Participate in developing the future state data architecture standards, guidelines, and principles

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience in Data architecture and data modeling
• Strong domain expertise in functional areas like Finance, Risks, HR, Supply Chain etc
• Experience with SQL or equivalent database querying language
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL, and large-scale distributed systems
• Analytical skills with the experience identifying, quantifying, and effectively raising business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with capability to execute with business stakeholders
