Azure Cloud Engineer

We are partnering with a Mississippi State agency in search of a local contractor based in or around Jackson, MS with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure. This is a primarily remote opportunity, but candidates must be able to attend occasional onsite meetings as needed by the client.

Key Requirements:

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure

✅ Strong knowledge of Azure services including (but not limited to):

Azure Virtual Machines

Azure Active Directory

Azure DevOps

Azure Networking

Azure Storage Solutions

✅ Experience with Azure security best practices and governance

✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

✅ Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
