AWS Security Specialist

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of AWS security standards, guidelines, and baselines. The role involves automating security processes and operationalizing controls to enhance our security posture, while contributing to a secure cloud infrastructure aligned with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
• Support in establishing and maintaining AWS security standards, guidelines, and baselines to ensure a secure cloud infrastructure. • Utilize automation tools and scripting languages like Python and Terraform to automate security processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. • Support in implementing and managing security controls to enhance the organization’s security posture. • Contribute to the security of the cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is compliant with industry standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. • At least 4 years of experience in cloud technologies specifically in AWS. • Professional cloud security certifications are highly desirable. • Proven experience in cloud security, specifically within AWS environments. • Strong understanding of AWS services including IAM, Transit Gateway etc. • Good experience in designing and deploying secure AWS architectures. • Experience in developing and implementing security baselines, policies, and procedures. • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Terraform). • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
