AWS Migration

Mandatory Skill: on Prem to AWS migration (Minimum 5 years exp needed), Kubernetes, Docker.

Primary:
Migration of application/workload from On Prem to Public Cloud like AWS.
Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
Design, develop, implement highly available & scalable, cloud solutions within AWS.
Execute migration plans, monitor processes, and troubleshoot issues.
Manage and administer the migrated AWS cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration.
Ensuring security and compliance of migrated workloads on Cloud.
Hands on experience on AWS Services like EKS, EC2, VPC, Networking (Direct Connect, VPN), Load balancers, Subnet, Gateways, Route tables, Firewalls, DNS, Storage solutions.
Hands on experience in implementing logging and monitoring solutions like AWS Cloud watch, Grafana, ELK.
Hands on experience in Docker & Kubernetes.
Automating the migration scripts and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge on Databases like DB2 & PostgreSQL.
Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
Creation of documentation on each step of migration process of all the components.
Train the team on the required technologies.
Lead the upskilling program within the team.
Secondary:
AWS Certified Solution Architects or Developers or DevOps Engineers.
Experience with IAAC tools like terraform.
Experience on Azure and Azure DevOps.
Coordination with different IT stakeholders as and when needed.
Suggestion and Implementation of further tool chains towards DevOps and Cloud Solutions.
Responsible to train the peer colleagues.
