Description

Overview:

This individual will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to clients or within an organization on designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure solutions using AWS services. This person will also need to have a deep understanding of AWS infrastructure offerings, such as compute, storage, networking, databases, and other services.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Strong Infrastructure/OS skillset
  • Solid networking basics (DNS, routing, subnetting – with IPsec, SSLVPN, edge/firewall as a plus)
  • Solid OS fundamentals (mainly Linux/RHEL, Windows a plus)
  • Virtualization understanding (VMware/AWS - impacts/affects of moving a VM from one hypervisor to another and how to account/correct for them)
