AWS Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure.
•    Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab.
•    Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
•    Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and third-party tools.
•    Implement security best practices including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and data encryption.
•    Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure cloud solutions align with business goals.
•    Stay updated with AWS services and recommend improvements or new tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•    7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
•    Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
•    Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
•    Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, NAT, Route53).
•    Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
•    Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
•    Exposure to serverless computing (Lambda, API Gateway)
