Primary Skill Set:
Jenkins, Terraform ,ELK Stack , Ansible Playbooks, Automation, Docker image, and Python Scripting
• Key Responsibilities: AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure AWS infrastructure using best practices.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and manage infrastructure through Terraform, ensuring version control, automation, and consistency across environments.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to ensure efficient and automated software deployment processes.
• Monitoring and Automation: Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of resources using AWS services (e.g., CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, EC2, etc.).
• Collaboration: Work closely with software engineering, QA, and product teams to support seamless deployment and integration processes.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security practices across AWS environments, including IAM roles, security groups, and VPC configurations. - Cost Management: Optimize cloud infrastructure costs and monitor usage to provide recommendations on best practices and cost-saving opportunities.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
• Requirements: Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, particularly with AWS, Terraform, and GitLab.
• Terraform: Expertise in developing and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform, including module creation, state management, and version control.
• AWS: In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, ECS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• GitLab CI/CD: Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Automation & Scripting: Strong experience in automation using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Containers & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools in AWS.
• Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch
• Security Best Practices: Knowledge of AWS security tools and practices, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), encryption, and secure networking.
• Version Control: Proficiency in version control using Git, GitLab, and branching strategies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified
