We are seeking an Infrastructure Automation AWS DevOps Lead Architect AWS DevOps, Vice President (VP) to join our Infrastructure Automation Development Team.
Design and develop automation solutions to support infrastructure and platform engineering teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate the lifecycle of internal IT products and services.
Promote DevOps methodologies and best practices within the organization.
Advocate and implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Product-Oriented IT approaches.
Work within a small, agile team to achieve automation goals and drive innovation.
Ensure compliance with security standards, including secrets management, PKI, and TLS certificates.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions for enhanced system reliability.
Lead Git-based source control strategies, including mono-repos, branch management, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Contribute to artifact management processes, including versioning, delivery, and deployment.
15+ years of experience in infrastructure automation and development, with a strong focus on leading teams and architecting solutions.
Expertise in software engineering and development best practices.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation and platform engineering.
Hands-on experience with DevSecOps methodologies and SRE principles.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Windows Desired State Configuration (DSC).
In-depth understanding of cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure).
Strong grasp of TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, and security protocols.
Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab.
Familiarity with Vault or other secrets management solutions
