Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to AWS cloud-based application incidents and service requests.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for AWS-related issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for AWS environments.
- Manage and triage alerts from AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
- Update progress and incidents in ServiceNow.
- Assist in refining SOPs and operational practices for AWS services and cloud operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with AWS native services.
- Understanding of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, and AWS Lambda.
- Experience in a technical support role, ideally within enterprise-level AWS cloud support.
- Decent foundational skills in CI/CD methodologies, cybersecurity, and AWS cloud operations.
- Basic AWS networking knowledge (VPC setup, security groups, ACLs).
- Familiarity with AWS IAM for access management.
- Experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- At least one of the following: CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, multi-cultural team environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Developer, Kubernetes or ITIL is a plus.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and scripting languages like Python
