We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Migration Specialist to manage the migration of Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS RDS. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with AWS DMS, Terraform, and database performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee migrations of Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS RDS.
  • Use AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for large-scale data migrations.
  • Implement database migrations with minimal downtime and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform database performance tuning, backups, and recovery processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during migration processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience with AWS cloud solutions, particularly with database migrations.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server DBA tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS DMS, CloudFormation, and Terraform (Terraform certification is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture and automation tools.
  • AWS certification is preferred.

Key Hands‑On Experience Required:

  • Cloud resource provisioning using Terraform.
  • Experience with Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) during database migration.
  • Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL database monitoring.
  • Experience with lift-and-shift migration methods using AWS DMS
