We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infra Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure to support the development and deployment of software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security experts, to ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of our cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Deploy Cloud Infrastructure:
- Plan, design, and deploy cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Implement best practices for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
Manage Cloud Resources:
- Provision, configure, and manage cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, and databases.
- Automate cloud resource management with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.
Monitor and Optimize Cloud Performance:
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize cost and performance by tuning resources, automating scaling, and leveraging cloud-native features.
Ensure Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and access control.
- Work with security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to company and regulatory standards.
Collaboration with DevOps & Development Teams:
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to integrate continuous delivery pipelines with cloud environments.
- Assist developers with infrastructure requirements and cloud resource optimizations.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure services such as compute, storage, networking, and databases.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as VPNs, load balancing, DNS, and firewalls.
- Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Experience with cloud security tools and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
