AWS Cloud Engineer

Contract description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer- Contractor.

Design, develop, and manage scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure and data engineering pipelines to support enterprise-grade solutions.
Implement and optimize real-time data processing workflows using Python, PySpark, and Spark-SQL, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and compliance.
Leverage AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, VPC, EC2, and IAM to build intelligent, self-service data platforms and governance frameworks.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations using tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Systems Manager, and AWS Secrets Manager.
Ensure robust cloud environments with disaster recovery solutions, load balancing strategies, and secure cloud-native data integrations. RDS, Blob Storage, and Cosmos DB, to support complex data workflows and BI integrations
Qualifications
6+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native application development.
Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Spark-SQL for building and maintaining scalable data engineering pipelines.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Glue, Lambda, S3, VPC, EC2, IAM, Oracle RDS, Blob Storage, and Cosmos DB.
Solid understanding of version control (GitHub/GitLab), CI/CD processes (Jenkins), and cloud security tools (AWS Systems Manager, Secrets Manager).
Demonstrated expertise in disaster recovery planning, performance tuning, and load balancing in cloud-based environments.
