We are urgently seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join a high-impact team on a contract basis. This is a critical position with a fast turnaround, and interviews will be scheduled promptly for qualified candidates. The ideal applicant will have experience with Tenable or TrendMicro, strong cloud infrastructure skills, and proficiency with DevOps practices, automation, and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage production-grade cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS, aligning with DevOps and industry best practices.
- Integrate and manage SaaS or On-Prem applications for large-scale clients.
- Work with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Module, triaging tickets and building custom dashboards.
- Manage container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration automation (Ansible).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Splunk, including custom dashboard creation and performance tuning.
- Lead code/design reviews and mentor junior engineers in cloud best practices and secure development.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Proven experience with Tenable or TrendMicro for vulnerability scanning and remediation.
- Proficiency in AWS services (Compute, Networking, IAM, etc.); Azure/GCP a plus.
- Experience with Linux systems and bash scripting.
- Hands-on with Splunk deployment, configuration, and dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with security/compliance in cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in mentoring or leading technical teams.
- Exposure to enterprise IT ecosystems and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service delivery models
