AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Description

• Implement secure network solutions that meet business requirements.
   
• Create and configure virtualized systems in the AWS environment.
   
• Perform infrastructure upgrades and updates to maximize system efficiency while minimizing downtime.
   
• Deploy applications in AWS using EC2 instances and Elastic Beanstalk.
   
• Create blueprints using CloudFormation templates for common workloads.
   
• Maintain, test, and implement disaster recovery procedures.
   
• Implement automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) to manage AWS services.
   
• Build tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment.
   
• Develop software components in Java/Python/.NET that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
   

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
   
• Minimum of 3 years experience in designing, implementing and managing cloud solutions/infrastructure.
   
• Strong knowledge of AWS.
   
• Strong Knowledge of Cloud Network Concepts.
   
• Should Have Hands-On experience in Landing Zone Implementation, Specifically in Network Setup.
   
• OS-level Troubleshooting and Resolution skills.
   
• Application knowledge should know how to install and manage.
   
• AWS EKS networking knowledge and should know how to validate the find if there is any issue.
   
• Should have Terraform implementation knowledge.
   
• Database skillsets like monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues and Infra change knowledge.
   
• Grafana, OpenSearch - These 2 services are preferred.
   
• Good understanding skills in terms of Architectural Designs.
   
• Ownership quality when comes to Problem Solving
   
• Willing to be placed in Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia onsite contract based.
