AWS Cloud Architect

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Deep understanding of AWS services - EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.

• Knowing how to design and implement cost-effective solutions using AWS services. 

• Understanding of networking concepts - DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, HTTP, etc. 

• Understanding of cloud security principles - IAM, encryption, firewalls, etc.

• Understanding of DevOps principles: Automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code

• Automating infrastructure and deployments. 

• Understanding security best practices for cloud environments. 

• Knowledge of architecting for high availability using multiple availability zones, regions, and backup strategies.
 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understanding the business context and designing solutions that meet those needs. 

• Collaborating with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders. 

• Taking responsibility for the success of cloud projects
