Job Summary:
This role will establish and implement standards, process, and rigor around the Administration & Scheduling of Autosys. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting an Autosys environment that will support a heterogeneous Platform configuration. Must be able to illustrate domain expertise in the workload automation space with a complete knowledge of the enterprise scheduler environment. Implement best practices to ensure high availability for the application environments.
Responsibilities:
The individual will work within the organizational change and incident management framework to update the Autosys scheduling environment as needed.
Manage batch workload in Production Control for Autosys. Identify and fix common issues, alert support staff when problems develop, raise issues to management when SLA’s may be breached, and document all issues in writing.
Efficient use of system tools (i.e. Autosys’s JAWS, iDASH or similar job scheduling tools).
Work with application developmental teams to help them understand the tools needs, its behavior and develop their applications to best work within the scheduler tool; also to work with applications and infrastructure support teams to find root cause for job failures and resolve issues quickly
Set up jobs in Developmental/Model/Production environments and test / fix with application developmental teams
Prioritizes and runs batch jobs based on available resources and scheduling requirements. Scheduling various types of jobs using Autosys job forms.
Assists in set up of file transfers jobs & other Autosys plugin knowledge.
Extensive knowledge on Autosys JIL & command line utilities

Requirements:
8+ years of Autosys experience with Hands on Autosys version r11.3.x and R12.x Administration.
Extensive knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows Environments & and SQL queries
Knowledge on scripting (Shell, Perl, etc.)
Strong knowledge on ITIL process
