Key Specifications of the role :

 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katlon Studio for:
• Web UI applications (cross-browser testing)
• Mobile applications (Android & iOS)
• API endpoints and workflows
• Build robust and reusable automation frameworks with Custom Keywords, Reusable Test Objects, and Data-Driven Testing.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end regression suites for functional and integration testing.
• Collaborate with manual QA, developers and product managers to understand application requirements and define test strategies.
• Integrate automation execution with CI/CD pipelines (AWS COdebuild) --> Good to have
• Configure and manage test environments including real devices/emulators or cloud device farms (e.g., Android Studio,Xcode, BrowserStack)
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, raise clear defects with reproducible steps, and assist with debugging.
• Actively participate in Test planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and release validation.
• Maintain test documentation, logs, reports, and dashboards for visibility and traceability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in test processes and frameworks.
