Automation Tester

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
• Perform API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of APIs.
• Utilize basic database skills to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain and update test automation frameworks.
• Document and report test results, and track defects to closure.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in QA automation. (Java with Selenium)
• Basic database skills (e.g., SQL).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
• Knowledge of Pega is an added advantage. (not mandatory)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
