Automation Tester

Responsibilities

• Able to lead a team with less and no supervision.
• Create or update Automation test framework as needed based on analyzing user requirements, design documents and other documentation.
• Design/develop/enhance/execute automated test scripts for functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to help determine test cases and clearly communicate issues found.

Required Skills

• Software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality thorough the entire software development cycle.
• Version control repo like GITHUB and SVN.
• Test scheduling and execution on Jenkins, etc.
• HP-QC/ALM, TFS, JIRA or a relevant defect management tool.
• Ability to handle/report multiple project reports to all stake holders.
• Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in multiple projects and team management.
• Hands on experience in selenium/API.
• Experience in API and Microservices Testing.
• Experience in BDD and Cucumber preferred.
• Experience in working on frameworks written on java.
• Google Cloud Platform Testing, Dataflow, BigQuery experience will be preferred.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
