Automation Tester

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyzing quality performance.
• Investigate and troubleshooting product or production issues.
• Know how to design a good automation test framework that is easy to maintain.
• Articulate and recommend recent industry best practices, tool and techniques that can help improve overall quality process.
• Ensure the RPA architecture is scalable and extensible.
• Analyze data and application changes and document their impact on the performance automation task (test cases, scripting, scenario execution, etc).
• Have a general view of how the automation test framework can work with other QA parts.
• Conduct troubleshooting/test execution in support of remediation efforts as required.
• Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

Required Skills

• Scripting skill in java/Java scripting.
• Good to have scripting knowledge in Selenium/UFT.
• Understanding of Event-Driven Service Oriented Architectures, external interface standards and File Transfer Protocols.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
• Good understanding of RDBMS concepts, especially with Oracle database environment is must.
• Strong hands-on skills in SQL development and be able to create ad-hoc queries to meet business needs, as well as working knowledge of Linux.
• Ability to design/architect, build, program, test and deploy RPA solutions using an Agile methodology.

Required Experience

• At least 5+ years of experience with test automation development.
• Hands-on experience on Tool and technology Selenium, Core Java, Java implementation in testing.
• Working experience in Using testing and bug tracking software such as JIRA, GIT, bash, eclipse.
• Demonstrated functional test experience, including test analysis.
• Hands-on experience on BDD and Gherkin.
• Experience with integrating RPA with other tools (e.g. ServiceNow, SharePoint, Email, etc).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
