Automation Engineer

Job Description.
Install, configure, and upgrade Tosca Commander, Tosca Server, and related components.
• Maintain and support Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) and Tosca Continuous Integration (CI) setup.
• Manage Tosca License Server and user access (including license monitoring and renewal).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tosca infrastructure, execution, and integration.
• Collaborate with automation testers and DevOps teams to enable smooth CI/CD pipeline integration using Tosca.
• Support integration with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, JIRA, ALM, SAP, Salesforce, etc.
• Monitor test execution infrastructure (virtual machines, agents, test environments).
• Participate in infrastructure capacity planning and resource optimization.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure setup and troubleshooting guides.
• Design, develop, and execute Tosca automated test cases for Salesforce applications, including custom components, integrations, and standard modules.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into automation test scenarios.
• Create and manage Tosca modules, test cases, test data, and test configurations specific to Salesforce.
• Ensure continuous improvement in automation strategy by implementing Tosca best practices.
• Strong expertise in Tosca Distributed Execution (DEXE) – configuring agents, execution lists, and execution monitors.
• Perform UI and API testing and validate backend services and integrations using Tosca.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Troubleshoot failures and identify root causes to improve test coverage and reliability.
• Provide mentorship to junior testers and enforce Tosca best practices and standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong knowledge of Tricentis Tosca architecture and its components.
• Experience with DEX, Tosca CI/CD integration, Tosca Commander, and Tosca Server.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMs, and network configurations.
• Experience with Active Directory, SSO, and Tosca user management.
• Familiarity with test data management and environment provisioning.
• Expertise in Tosca Commander, TBox, Modules, Test Case Design, and Test Data Service.
• Strong knowledge of Tosca automation framework, including Tosca BI, API testing, and Tosca Query Language (TQL).
• Experience with Tosca custom XScan handling for dynamic Salesforce elements.
• Hands-on experience with API testing in Tosca.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models.
