Automation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

5+ years of experience in automation testing, specifically in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
Strong expertise in Playwright Automation Framework for UI & API testing.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python/Java is a plus).
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.).
Strong knowledge of banking security protocols, compliance standards, and authentication mechanisms.
Experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Deep understanding of XPath, CSS Selectors, and DOM structure for automation.
Experience with API testing using Playwright or tools like Postman/Rest Assured.
Exposure to performance testing and debugging test failures in banking applications.
Understanding of data encryption, authentication (OAuth, SAML), and fraud prevention techniques.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright for banking applications.
Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and regression testing.
Ensure compliance with banking security standards and regulatory requirements in test automation.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure seamless test automation and defect resolution.
Implement CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Identify and analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quick defect resolution.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to test strategy and risk-based testing.
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure banking applications meet high-availability standards.
Ensure data masking, encryption, and security compliance while handling test data.
