Automation Engineer

Job Description

1. Analyzing business requirement in order to determine the test strategy covered by automation testing

2. Developing new test scripts are roles and responsibilities of selenium automation test engineer

3. Maintaining existing tests scripts/regression suites

4. Attending Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on assigned projects

5. Executing regression suites

6. Providing results to project managers/developers/manual testers and stakeholders

7. Understanding the business requirements, application, and its components.

8. Updating Framework functions when needed

9. Developed and executed the Automation Test Scripts

10. Reviewing the Test Reports and Preparing Test Summary Report.

11. Preparation of test scenarios/cases/execution and test results.

12. Reporting any defects / Observation on day to day basis

13. Attending the client calls and meetings

14. Involving in giving daily and weekly status reports to clients.

15. Involved in knowledge transfer to the newly recruited personnel.

16. Implemented automation using Selenium WebDriver, JAVA, Selenium Grid, Cucumber, Maven

17. Understanding and Analyzing Test Requirements are roles and responsibilities for selenium tester

18. Automation Framework Design & Implementation

19. Selenium Test Environment Setup (Maven Integration, Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, and Jenkins Integration…)

20. Inspecting Elements, Create Test Cases using Element locators and Selenium WebDriver Commands.

21. Enhance Test cases using Java Programming and JUnit / TestNG Annotations.
