About the Role:

As an Automation Architect, you will be responsible for defining and executing test automation strategies, developing robust frameworks, and mentoring a team of test automation engineers. Your expertise in tools, techniques, and processes will contribute to seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

This role is based onsite in Dublin, Ireland, for an initial 6-month B2B contract, with the possibility of extension. The start date is immediate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Architect and develop automated test frameworks and scripts for software applications.
• Strategy and Planning: Define and implement comprehensive test automation strategies, including tool selection and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentorship: Lead and mentor test automation engineers, enhancing their skills and performance.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track automated test metrics, monitor execution, and report results to stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve test automation issues, optimize performance, and debug scripts.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for frameworks, processes, and test cases.

Preferred Skills:

• At least 15 years of experience in test automation, with a minimum of 5 years as an Automation Architect.
• Proficiency in building automation frameworks and defining implementation roadmaps for large enterprises.
• Expertise in tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
