Atlassian Solutions Leader

Position Overview:

We are seeking an influential and seasoned Atlassian Solutions Leader with deep hands-on expertise in ROVO, Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools, paired with exceptional leadership acumen. This role is ideal for a visionary change agent who can partner with executive stakeholders, lead Atlassian forums, and drive enterprise-wide transformation through scalable, governed, and collaborative delivery frameworks. You’ll not only be expected to deliver high-quality Atlassian solutions but to cultivate adoption, lead enterprise-wide working groups, and be a trusted advisor in maturing Atlassian platforms across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Lead and facilitate Atlassian Governance Forums, bringing together stakeholders from DevOps, QA, Security, PMO, and business teams to drive tool alignment and usage best practices.

• Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership on tool usage, ROVO strategy, and enterprise-wide collaboration frameworks.

• Define and enforce governance structures, policy templates, approval flows, and platform administration aligned with business goals.

Platform Ownership & Optimization

• Own the end-to-end administration and roadmap of Jira, Confluence, ROVO, and related Atlassian tools.

• Drive ROVO adoption and implementation across teams to align change management with compliance and engineering rigor.

• Deliver scalable automation, templates, reporting standards, and workflows for continuous improvement and visibility.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement

• Run enterprise working groups, CoEs, or forums to gather input, roll out changes, and evangelize Atlassian platform capabilities.

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to internal teams and platform users, ensuring consistent onboarding and knowledge sharing.

• Create executive dashboards and reporting systems to demonstrate performance, ROI, and tooling maturity.

Execution & Innovation

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering leads to tailor the Atlassian suite to real-world agile delivery pipelines.

• Oversee platform scaling, data integrity, tool upgrades, and integrations with CI/CD, Git, Slack, Power BI, etc.

• Proactively drive platform usage data, usage heatmaps, and transformation metrics.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of enterprise Atlassian tool experience (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, ROVO, etc.).

• Proven track record of leading Atlassian forums, steering committees, or tool adoption programs.

• Strong background in enterprise collaboration, DevOps, and agile delivery.

• Deep understanding of workflow design, automation, governance, and compliance in Jira and ROVO.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills — able to influence VPs and technical teams alike
