AS/400 RPGLE Developer

We are seeking an experienced AS/400 RPGLE Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RPG/RPGLE development, SQLRPGLE, and CL programming, along with experience working in an IBM i (AS/400) environment. The role involves developing and maintaining applications, integrating various systems, debugging batch processes, and preparing technical documentation. Experience with Aldon change management and interfacing with other systems is highly desirable. 

Key Responsibilities. Develop, enhance, and maintain applications in RPG/RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and CL within an AS/400 environment. Work with DB2/400 databases to design and optimize SQL queries. Handle system integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between different systems. Develop and work with APIs, particularly in the AS/400 environment. Create and manage JSON structures within RPGLE programs. Debug batch processes, manage JOBQs, and respond to message wait (MSGW) conditions. Use Aldon change management for code versioning and deployment. Work with IFS and FTP for file handling and system interactions. Prepare functional requirement documents and detailed technical design documentation.
