AS400 Developer

Position: Senior AS400 Developer

Location: Toronto-Hybrid
Contract

7 to 8 years of hands-on application development experience in AS/400 and Cobol 400

Thorough understanding of core banking knowledge

Strong programming background in:

IBM iSeries (AS400)

Cobol/400

RPGLE

SQLRPG

Preference for candidates with support roles experience

Excellent skills in DB2 / SQL / query language and debugging

Knowledge of writing complex queries

Good analytical and communication skills

Strong team and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask when required

Adept at delivering high-quality software documentation with high attention to detail

High analytical skills and a high degree of initiative and flexibility

High customer orientation and quality awareness

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
