Job Description.

Position:: Ariba QA / Testing Engineer
Duration: 6-12 Months 
Rate: DOE
Hybrid Position in Herndon VA: 2-3 Days Onsite

Role: Ariba QA / Testing Engineer - - A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Test Automation.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Ariba Buyer applications (both upstream and downstream)
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced QA/Ariba Buyer QA Engineer to join our team. 
The successful candidate will work on the design and implementation of a reusable approach to Ariba Buyer Test Automation, develop and execute Ariba Buyer Test Cases, and provide guidance to the team on adopting Ariba Buyer Test Automation technologies and techniques.

Responsibilities:
-Design a reusable approach to Ariba Buyer Test Automation and the associated framework.
- Coach the team on the adoption of Ariba Buyer Test Automation technologies and techniques.
- Analyze and understand Ariba Buyer Testing Procedures and Requirements.
- Develop and execute Ariba Buyer Test Cases, Test Automation, and Automation Scripts.
- Locate, document, and follow up on bugs and quality issues.
- Develop test plans and write automation test cases wherever needed.
- Regularly revisit Ariba Buyer Test cases and strategy to encapsulate the latest product functionality.
- Report on Ariba Buyer testing status and results.
- Assist in the resolution of application-related problems.
- Monitor and tune performance.
- Support Continuity of Business.
- Contribute to Root Cause Analysis.
- Coordinate with other support functions and teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Work as part of an agile DevOps team and drive assigned topics from an operations point of view.
- Lead continuous improvement & enhancements for the cloud platform and the operations.
- Ability to lead other team members into the desired solutions.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Test Automation.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Ariba Buyer applications (both upstream and downstream) preferred; If no Ariba experience, similar application experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Software Testing, Programming Languages, and Quality Assurance Principles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience working in an agile DevOps environment.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Selenium with Java, BDD
- Experience in tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, DevOps tools.
- Good experience building, maintaining, enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
