Description

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Working alongside principals, project director, and the project architect in a variety of tasks including but not limited to coordinating / performing technical project efforts, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Ensuring that daily tasks related to multiple concurrent small to large complex projects are managed and performed as assigned, while adhering to established deadlines.
  • Manage and create solutions for schematic design and actively participate in the detailing and shaping of detailed design documentation and specifications using the terms of reference.
  • Assisting in oversight and collaborating with the architectural staff and A/E consultants.
  • Overseeing and performing the tasks required for projects throughout all architectural phases, including project site location analysis, concept design, schematic design, design development, and detailed design documentation.
  • May provide technical guidance to less experienced subordinates.

 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the architecture or interior related industry.
  • Licensed Architect is not a requirement, but it can be advantageous.
  • Capable of resolving complex problems.
  • Proficient in independently working and effectively contributing to a team environment.
  • Skilled in both verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent abilities in time management, organizational, and verbal/written communication.
  • Experience with detailed design projects and working with consultants.
  • Strong understanding of building science, including technical and detailing skills for intermodal
  • Applicant must be Revit proficient, with actual work experience already using Revit in Architectural drawing and modelling transportation and mixed-use occupancy building design.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office is necessary
