Application Support Engineer

Job Description

Minimum of 2 - 4 years of total experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience in applications support on one or more of the following technologies: o Angular o Spring boot o Java o Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups and message tracing o Exposure to Web RESTful Services • Exposure to web application deployment and troubleshooting (WebLogic/Tomcat/JBoss/Kubernetes) Exposure to Log Management tools like ELK, Datadog etc. • Exposure to Software Development/Support functions. • Operations or system administration experience particularly in Linux / UNIX distributions (RedHat, Centos). • Knowledge of networking concepts. • Good to have understanding of the distributed caching • Good to have experience working in Workflow applications • Understanding of working of CI/CD pipelines. • Knowledge of Oracle database and PLSQL • Good to have experience in implementation of Security policies. • Willingness to work in shifts or on-call rotation as required • Good grasp of logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
