Description

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or comparable professional experience.
  • 6+ years of technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), including development using C/AL or AL.
  • Proven track record leading technical design, development, and deployment of NAV solutions (including retail-focused implementations).
  • Experience integrating AFS retail solutions or strong exposure to retail-specific NAV deployments is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV architecture, including coding, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning) and related data management techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Knowledge of APIs, web services, and advanced integration concepts.
  • Experience with Business Central and extension-based development is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges in a retail environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical retail stakeholders.
