Responsibilities:
Develop, update, enhance, and maintain IT software code, structures, scripts, and system configurations for web and client-server type applications, database procedural and manipulation programming, and interfaces using supported programming languages approved by the Government in accordance with Configuration Control Board (CCB) direction and priorities. All code will be checked into a Government-owned source code repository for configuration control and management. All source code shall follow the coding standards for the assigned projects and utilize the development, operation review/pre-production, and production servers.
Required skills/qualifications:
- A Four-Year or higher degree in a computer or information science related field.
- 5 Years (Senior) or 3 Years (Mid-Level) Experience designing and developing database (SQL or Oracle) driven IT applications in one or more software languages such as C++, Java/J2EE, Visual Basic, .net, HTML/XML, PowerBuilder, and/or Delphi.
- Senior developers require CSWF IAT III certification per DoD 8570 Directive. Mid developers require CSWF IAT II certification.
