Description

DUTIES:
Performs basic configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis and repair of Desktop and Server systems, Disaster Recovery Systems, switches, networks, video systems. ~ Performs help desk, system administration.
Provides technical support to systems upgrades and configuration changes.
Assists in implementing software and firmware/hardware updates. Leads complex troubleshooting efforts.
Work effectively on several phases of systems/software programming/analysis with little direction but may require some instruction and guidance for other aspects.
May assist in the coding of benchmark testing, job accounting and other control modules developed internally by the company.
May assist with moderately complex software applications, such as system generations, compilers, link editors and assemblers.
Perform other duties and special projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
At least two years (three preferred) of professional experience in an associated field.
Ability and willingness to travel to austere environments as and when needed (approximately 10%) is required.
Education: A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess a good understanding of network software (TCP/IP, etc.) as well as relational database software.
