Application Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's applications by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities:

 

• Focus on Security Design Review process
• Partner with Application teams
• Experience in threat modeling
• Worked with API
• Penetration testing
• Conduct security assessments of applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses
• Develop and implement security solutions to protect applications from cyber threats
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Provide guidance and recommendations on security policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees
• Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis when necessary
  
   

Job Requirements

Details:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience working in application security or related field
• Strong understanding of web application security principles and best practices
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
• Knowledge of common security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP are a plus
